HAND-BUILT COIL VASES
COMING SOON

Handbuilding is an ancient pottery technique where the potter primarily uses their hands, rather than a wheel, to shape clay. My favourite method of handbuilding is coiling. Individually laid coils of clay both inform the structural integrity of my pieces as well as their organic shapes.
Pottery came into my life as I was rehabilitating from a major injury, and I was immediately drawn to vessels. There is something so intrinsically feminine in a vase - and there are so many ways to be feminine! Each vase is made individually, as a unique creation with her own spirit.
I hope my designs resonate with you!

Are you an... ISLA

Isla is a windswept beach, Scottish heather, murky kelp, a story about sailors and mermaids from before we had maps (told by candlelight of course.) Like hagstones, Isla is rumoured to help you see fairies, or imagine a more magical point of view.
Calliope is a modern-day muse, carrying classical silhouettes straight from the archaeological dig into your home. Feminine and grounded in earthy tones, raw finishes, and poetic license, Calliope has a lot to say – as well as a quiet strength that makes you want to listen.

Are you a... CALLIOPE
Are you a... LILOU

Lilou is whimsy! Moving freely, taking tactile joy in spontaneous twists and turns, Lilou is a surprise even to herself. She is mischievous, boldly curvaceous, and unapologetically holds space with an open-hearted presence.
Are you a... MARGAUX
Margaux is a one-of-one. Rare. Ahead-of-her time. Frequenter of the path less travelled. Never off the shelf. Margaux is the unknown, the undiscovered, the potential of ideas in realised form. Unique colour-way? Specific shape? I got you!
To customise your Margaux please email me your ideas.
